International Workshop – 'Texts, Traditions and Transmission: Global and Local Transitions in the Late Second Temple Period' – will be held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University on May 21-25, 2018.
Meeting is organized by The Centre of Excellence ‘Changes in Sacred Texts and Traditions’ (CSTT) (hosted by the Faculty of Theology, University of Helsinki) and by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Some members of the Excellence Centre took part in the international symposium – 'From Scribal Error to Rewriting: How (Sacred) Texts May and May Not Be Changed', held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in May 2015. The symposium was organized by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.
